Time: 8:45 - 17:00
Location: ºÚÁÏÉç Faculty Club

Ethical financial practices include:

  1. Integrity - Upholding honesty and transparency in all financial transactions and communications;
  2. Accountability - Taking responsibility for actions and decisions that impact clients, employees, stakeholders, and the broader economy;
  3. Fairness - Ensuring equitable treatment of all parties, avoiding conflicts of interest, and promoting equal access to financial services;
  4. Confidentiality - Respecting client privacy and safeguarding sensitive financial information from unauthorized disclosure; and
  5. Compliance - Adhering to laws, regulations, and fiduciary responsibilities that govern financial practices. Importantly, however, ethical approaches to finance mean exceeding the letter of the law, that is, doing better than meeting these basic requirements of acceptable financial activity.

This conference will look at these and related issues with special focus on three areas: sustainability, equity, and social responsibility.
