 , Faculty of Engineering)\, and Dr. Morty Yalovsky (Interim Dean\, Desaute
 ls Faculty of Management).\n\nThe event is co-hosted with the ºÚÁÏÉç Dobso
 n Centre for Entrepreneurship\, it is free and open to all in the ºÚÁÏÉç c

  & Chief Executive Officer\, Flagship Pioneering \n	Noubar Afeyan has dedic
 ated his career to improving the human condition by systematically creatin
 g science-based innovations that serve as the foundation for start-up comp
 anies. At Flagship Pioneering\, which he founded in 2000\, Noubar has crea
 ted an enterprise where entrepreneurially minded scientists invent seeming
 ly unreasonable solutions to challenges facing human health and sustainabi
 lity.\n\nDuring his career as inventor\, entrepreneur\, and CEO\, Noubar h
 as co-founded and helped build over 50 life science and technology start u
 ps. Noubar was born in Beirut to Armenian parents in 1962\, did his underg
 raduate work in chemical engineering at ºÚÁÏÉç\, and completed 
 his Ph.D. in biochemical engineering at MIT in 1987.\n\n
