She currently practices at the GMF-U Herzl Family Practice Centre where she is also the medical director of the Teenage Health Unit ( THU). Dr Quan has an interest in medical education and is the course direc tor of the Longitudinal Family Medicine Experience (LFME)\, the family med icine course for first year medical students. She is involved in resident training as the interim Competence Committee Chair at the Herzl. She has r ecently teamed up with Dr Anne Cockcroft's participatory research group to explore the factors that influence teenagers in accessing medical care.    \n \n\n \n Dr. Anne Cockcroft\, a physician with a background in respiratory and occupational medicine\, is a professor in PRAM in the ºÚÁÏÉç departme nt of Family Medicine. Working with CIET (a non-profit linked with PRAM)\, she undertakes community-based participatory research. Her recent researc h in Northern Nigeria focuses on adolescent sexual and reproductive health \, and equitable community recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. Current p rojects in Botswana involve older adults in participatory problem-solving to reduce dementia\, and youth in co-design of strategies to prevent perso nal and interpersonal violence. As part of PRAM\, she has partnered with Y vonne Quan of the Teenage Health Unit in the Herzl Clinic to hear the view s of teenagers about what influences their use of the THU services. \n \n \n \n Research Seminar Series\n\n Each month\, the Department of Family Medicin e hosts a research seminar that explores a wide range of topics and method s relevant to primary health care.
