  (TISED) and ºÚÁÏÉç Global Health Programs are launching a collaborative s
 eed grant ($75\,000 each) pilot initiative to address challenges to planet
 ary health. We'll fund health-related solutions at the nexus between disea
 se\, rapid environmental degradation and climate change caused by unsustai
 nable industrialization\, urban growth and resource consumption practices.
  This initiative will grant funding to interdisciplinary projects with res
 earchers leading from both the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Engi
 neering\, with the larger goal of building a community of interdisciplinar
 y researchers at ºÚÁÏÉç working in global environmental health. These coll
 aborations will have the potential to transform lives across the globe\, e
 specially in underserved regions where poverty and poor healthcare dominat
 e. Let’s contribute to planetary health with bold\, new\, high-risk ideas.
