Niigaan Sinclair, an Anishinaabe writer, award-winning columnist for the Winnipeg Free Press, and Professor in Native Studies at the University of Manitoba, is also the son of the late Murray Sinclair, Chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada. Through his writing, teaching, and public voice, Niigaan has become a leading commentator on Indigenous issues, reconciliation, and the responsibilities Canada carries today. In this keynote moderated by the Faculty Chair of the Indigenous Relations Initiatives, Veldon Coburn, he joins us to reflect on where Canada stands with the TRC, 10 years later, and the work that still lies ahead.聽
