DESCRIPTION:During this 2-hour interactive workshop\, participants learn ab
 out the prevalence of sexual violence at şÚÁĎÉç and in the larger communit
 y\, and the various impacts that sexual violence can have on individuals. 
 You will learn how to respond to and support people affected by sexual vio
 lence by using appropriate tools and approaches. Participants will then pr
 actice these tools and methods they have learned through group activities 
 and case scenarios. The workshop will also explore key terms and discuss c
 ommon myths and misconceptions about sexual violence that may affect one's
  ability to effectively respond to and support disclosures. Participants w
 ill also learn about the many different support resources available on cam
 pus and in the community.Accessibility: The building is accessible via the
  West campus entrance and a public elevator is available on all levels of 
 the building. There are accessible washrooms on the first\, second\, and f
 ourth floor. This event is scent-reduced to minimize risk for people with 
 environmental sensitivities\, allergies and asthma. This means that all at
 tendees should refrain from using any scented products prior to the event 
 or bringing them to the event\, including (but not limited to) perfume\, c
 ologne\, shampoo\, conditioner\, soap\, hairspray or gel\, makeup\, laundr

 , les participants découvrent la prévalence de la violence sexuelle à McGi
 ll et dans le reste de la collectivité\, ainsi que les divers impacts de l
 a violence sexuelle sur les individus. Vous apprendrez comment répondre et
  aider les personnes touchées par la violence sexuelle en utilisant des ou
 tils et des approches appropriés. Les participants pratiqueront ensuite ce
 s outils et méthodes qu’ils ont appris au travers d’activités de groupe et
  de scénarios. L'atelier explorera également les termes clés et discutera 
 des mythes courants et des idées fausses sur la violence sexuelle\, qui af
 fectent la capacité d'une personne à réagir efficacement et à soutenir les
  divulgations. Les participants découvriront également les nombreuses ress
 ources de support disponibles sur le campus et dans la communauté.Accessib
