Intuitive Eating, Body Image, and Health at Every Size (Online)

Friday, October 24, 2025 13:15to14:00

Offered by the Health and Wellness Program as part of the 15th Annual Health and Wellness Fair

This workshop introduces intuitive eating as a self-care approach to nutrition that encourages individuals to reconnect with their body鈥檚 natural hunger, fullness, and satisfaction cues鈥攆ree from diet rules or food guilt. We鈥檒l explore how intuitive eating supports a positive relationship with food and body by emphasizing trust, flexibility, and self-compassion.

Aligned with the principles of听Health at Every Size (HAES), this workshop challenges the idea that health is determined by body size. Instead, it promotes respectful care for all bodies, celebrates body diversity, and advocates for accessible, non-discriminatory healthcare. Together, intuitive eating and HAES offer a framework for cultivating body respect, mental well-being, and sustainable health practices at every size.
