 ition!\n\nNutrition is the foundation of optimal human health and thriving
  societies\, respectful of harmonious relationships with the environment. 
 Our academic programs focus on many key areas including\, among others\, t
 he availability of food\, normal metabolism and clinical nutrition\, commu
 nity nutrition at the local and international level\, Indigenous Peoples’ 
 nutrition and the safety and security of their food supply\, the evaluatio
 n of nutritional products and their use in nutrition\, and the communicati
 on of information about food and health.\n\nThe School of Human Nutrition 
 offers traditional thesis-based research programs (MSc\, PhD) as well as a
 pplied master’s programs (non-thesis)\, with concentrations in:\n\n·      
  Dietetics Credentialing (become a Registered Dietitian)\n\n·       Practi
 cum\n\n·       Project\n\nºÚÁÏÉç\, including its Macdonald Camp
 us\, is known throughout Canada and around the world for conducting pionee
 ring and innovative research. At Macdonald\, more than one-quarter of our 
 students are graduate students\, making the campus a hub for discussion an
 d debate regarding issues of the environment of natural and human-influenc
 ed ecosystems\, biosciences and bioproducts for the benefit of society\, f
 ood\, food safety\, nutrition and health. Graduate programs are offered by
