Quebec is in for a hot and humid summer, with above-normal temperatures, muggy nights and a heightened risk of violent storms, all resulting from a forecast 鈥渉eat dome鈥� over central North America, according to聽

Djordje Romanic,聽Assistant Professor, Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, is an expert in atmospheric science, extreme weather and climate. He can comment on how heat and humidity affect storm severity and on the conditions that lead to hail and tornadoes.
