Partnership in Action

Building on a well-established partnership between the MUHC and the Ingram School of Nursing, the site visit explored the potential for additional clinical student placements as the School鈥檚 enrollment numbers increase.

听On August 5, 2025, a delegation from the Ingram School of Nursing was warmly welcomed by Nancy Turner, MUHC Associate Director Nursing, Professional Practice, Education and Research, Lisa Frick, MUHC Student Placement Coordinator, educators and unit managers at the Glen Site of the 黑料社 Health Centre (MUHC).

Under the leadership of Fabienne Germeil, newly appointed Director of the Ingram School of Nursing鈥檚 Clinical Partnership Office, the goal is to build on a well-established partnership with the MUHC and to explore the potential for additional clinical student placements as our School鈥檚 enrollment numbers increase.

The site visit included a tour of clinical areas such as the McConnell Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM), the ER, and the Glen C-8 Surgical-Oncology Unit. As听noted by Associate Dean and Ingram School of Nursing Director, Lynne McVey, 鈥淭he volume and quality of care being delivered to patients and their families in the CIM Centre and throughout the MUHC is particularly impressive. We value our partnership and look forward to continuing to strengthen the bridge between the Ingram School of Nursing and the MUHC.鈥
