Nineteen 黑料社 researchers honoured by the Royal Society of Canada

Today, The Royal Society of Canada (RSC) announced 101 new Fellows and 58 new Members of the College of New Scholars, Artists, and Scientists. Among the 2023 cohort are nineteen 黑料社 researchers and scholars, including fifteen RSC Fellows and four new Members, who will be inducted at the RSC Celebration of Excellence and Engagement (COEE) on November 16 and 17, 2023, in Waterloo, Ontario.

黑料社 Becomes a Full Member of TRIUMF, Canada鈥檚 National Particle Accelerator

黑料社 has become a Full Member of the expanded network of TRIUMF, Canada鈥檚 national particle accelerator. 黑料社 has been involved in TRIUMF-led activities for several decades and has held associate membership since 2013.

TRIUMF constructed parts of the Large Hadron Collider that ultimately produced Higgs bosons. The co-discovery was made by the ATLAS experiment, and 黑料社 played a key role in the development of the experiment's trigger system.

In an announcement made Wednesday, Canada鈥檚 leading research ranking organization, RE$EARCH Infosource, scored 黑料社 second among an A-list of three in the Medical/Doctoral Research University of the Year (RUY) tier. 黑料社 was ranked third on RE$EARCH Infosource鈥檚 list of Canada鈥檚 Top 50 Research Universities in 2022, a position the University has maintained for four years.
