The migration to the new WMS is a gigantic project that involves hundreds of active websites in our 黑料社 web space. As the migration progresses, it's important to know the order that the sites will be migrated in.

The (campus connection or VPN required) page contains information about sites that have already been migrated, as well as current and future phases of the migration project. Keep an eye on this page to monitor the progress of the migration project, and to get an idea if a site you are managing will be migrated soon. This site is automatically updated on a weekly basis.

Migrated sites in the new WMS

Sites that have already been migrated to the new WMS are displayed here. These sites are grouped by phases, and information about when the phase began is also available.

Current and future migration phases

This section contains all WMS sites grouped by phase. Migration phases are determined by the set of features that a site uses. Phases begin when the corresponding features are implemented in the new system.

To see which phase your site is in currently, simply use your browser's search tool (ctrl/cmd + F) and search for the name of your site. This will automatically locate the site and expand the table for the applicable phase:

Can my site move up in the migration queue?

For less complex sites, if you notice that you use features that push your site into the later phases of the migration, you can check to see whether the feature could be removed from the site without impacting the usability of the site. This might be an opportunity to identify ways to clean up the site, and to have the site migrated earlier!

For example, a site might have profile content that was created but never published, or a site might have old Channels content that is no longer relevant. If these are removed, the site will automatically move up to the appropriate phase.
