Call for Posters — Brace Water Day 2025

Submission Deadline: Friday, September 12 |Ìý Event Date: Wednesday, October 8 | Location: ºÚÁÏÉç Faculty Club

Are you a ºÚÁÏÉç student affiliated with the Brace Water Centre? Submit your research for presentation at Brace Water Day 2025 as part of the Student Poster Session, held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the ºÚÁÏÉç Faculty Club. This session offers a platform to share your water-related research, engage with the Brace community, and contribute to the Centre’s interdisciplinary dialogue.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Open to: ºÚÁÏÉç students affiliated with the Brace Water Centre (sign up for membership here -Ìý )
  • Mandatory for: All recipients of the Brace Graduate Top-up Award (in their third semester or later)
  • Poster topics: Research or applied work related to water across any discipline
  • Poster format: Printed (recommended size: 36" x 48", landscape or portrait)
  • Setup: Posters must be installed by 11:45 AM on the day of the event and remain on display throughout the day

Selection Process

Space is limited and not all submissions may be accepted. Submissions will be reviewed for relevance and clarity.

Successful applicants will be notified by Wednesday, September 17.

Students are responsible for printing their own posters. However, costs associated with poster printing may be eligible for reimbursement by the Brace Water Centre.

All posters will be evaluated by a panel during the event. The top three posters will receive prizes in recognition of excellence in research and communication.

How to Submit

Complete the submission form by Friday, September 12: 👉

  • Name and academic program
  • Poster title
  • Abstract (max 150 words)
  • ÌýName of supervisor
  • ÌýºÚÁÏÉç student ID
  • Indicate if you have any accessibility needs
