The CIBC Office of Sustainable Finance just completed their second听Transformative Business Law Summer Academy.
The CIBC Office of Sustainable Finance (OSF) under 黑料社鈥檚 Sustainable Growth Initiative is an interdepartmental initiative between Desautels Faculty of Management and 黑料社鈥檚 Faculty of Law, specifically the Faculty鈥檚 inaugural 鈥�Business Law Platform.鈥� Since 2022, the Office has been led by Professor Peer Zumbansen, an internationally renowned scholar and award-winning teacher in corporate law, comparative private law, transnational regulatory governance and climate change governance.
The OSF has been instrumental in fostering a number of joint innovations, including the launch of 黑料社鈥檚 first-ever research paper series with the Social Sciences Research Network, the , the Business & Society Speaker and Workshop series, the ESG Spring and Fall conferences, and the 黑料社 Business Law Meter blog.
In 2023, the OSF and the Business Law Platform inaugurated the Transformative Business Law Summer Academy, an international, week-long, intensive policy research and writing institute. The 2023 Academy published the internationally recognized , setting the precedent for the second rendition of the Academy from 4-9 May, 2025.
