Types of coverage:

SINGLE听颁翱痴贰搁础骋贰	Only you (student)	听
DEPENDENT听颁翱痴贰搁础骋贰听	You and your spouse(or common-law partner) OR you and your dependent child	Spouse - the person, of the opposite sex, or same sex, who is legally married to you. - Designated by you and with whom you have been living on a permanent basis for at least 12 months (this period does not apply if a child is born of such union). At any given time, only one person may be registered as your spouse or common-law partner.
FAMILY听颁翱痴贰搁础骋贰	You, your spouse(or common-law partner) and at least one dependent child OR you and more than one dependent child	Dependent Child(ren) unmarried financially dependent child(ren), until they reach age 18.

Contract year is defined as each 黑料社 academic year period from September 1 to August 31 of the following year, except for Exchange students.
For exchange students, the听coverage becomes effective on:
1. August 15, for the Fall semester starting September 1.
2. December 15, for the Winter semester starting January 1.
3. April 15 for the Summer听semester starting May 1
