Dear students,
You may have read in the media or on social media that the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ) announced this morning that they were suspending their teaching boycott. We are receiving questions as to whether rotations supervised by family physicians will resume tomorrow.
To ensure proper orientation and preparation, we do need at least 24 hours' notice before students can return to the clinical setting.
Therefore, we will not resume family medicine rotations tomorrow.
The overall situation is evolving very quickly. We are working on the resumption plan for Family Medicine rotations to have students return to the clinical environment on Monday. However, it is important to realize that, like you, we don’t know how events will unfold in the next few days and contingency plans may change.
